What Could Be Used As Infra Red Light For Pi Camera

Hey all, I'1000 pretty new to Linux and just downloaded this. I got through the drive wink, updated and upgraded. OA connects well with my phone and sound output. I have a R Pi camera. It works fine through concluding commands, but when I preview it in OA the screen starts blackness, but turns solid red after maybe three seconds. If I turn on the guide lines, those bear witness upwards over the red background.
I have tried:
Turned on camera, both through terminal and through the GUI.
- Reflashing the drive.
- Changing the video output though v4l2 driver to diverse resolution
- Giving AA full permission
- Irresolute to various resolutions in both AA and OA
- Using a different ability supply (ii.5A)
- Looking through this forum and trying various other things...
Anyone have any thoughts equally to where I could go from here?
Thanks.
Update: 12/22
Swapped my Pi camera for my PS3 camera for the hell of it. It worked instantly...hmmm
Hello,
What version of OpenAuto Pro y'all are running? Did you try to enable camera via raspi-config command?

I am running version 4.0, I accept enabled the camera. and information technology works through the terminal.
I have tried 2 other usb cameras at present, and these work plug and play, now that I accept tried the raspi camera again, it but stays black.
At this point I intend to utilise a USB camera, very odd that this keep happening though.
I have the same trouble. Camera works great from command line, dark blue image in openautopro v5. Really demand assist!
Delight check is camera has installed according to official guide:

The camera works dandy in the command line and using gui application. only dark screen with night blueish photographic camera display in OAP. I have the camera set at default 1280x720 and OAP as well set at 1280x720, however not working. What command is sent to the camera when pressing the fill-in camera button?

Like to what I'm seeing on my setup....at that place has to be some type of config difference when running the camera through OAP as opposed to desktop testing.

Issue detected in version 5.0 should be fixed with the next release.
In six.0 version we added new backend type (Finder) to render video from the rear camera. Please switch to it at Settings->Rear Photographic camera and check if problem is however reproducible.
